Summer on Campus

A floral shirt, an empty June campus and the kind of late light that makes brick glow.

Summer is the quiet season on campus, which makes it the best time to shoot there: no crowds on the lawn, no one at the gates, and shade under the oaks until the light turns gold.

We kept it loose and walked the whole way from North Campus to the old brick gates, stopping wherever the light was good.
